2024 South Africa Tract Distribution-Phase 1

This is Phase 1 of a planned two phase tract distribution campaign in South Africa by Brother Kheliea Thoriso. Phase 2 was unfortunately interupted by car trouble (see below).

Morning Brother, how are you?

It’s my desire to  go to South Africa during Easter holiday; I want to be at Durban by the beaches for so many people visit the beaches for holidays, I think it gonna be a great opportunity to hand out tracts there.

We are hoping for Gods blessings on that trip as well, we do believe so many people will have their spiritual eyes open consequently, so they will be resurrected spiritually.

Good afternoon Brother,

It’s now 21:40 p.m. Thursday here in our region; we have just arrived from Bethlehem where we were handing out tracts, it’s significant to tell that we hand out tracts from the border up until we reach our destination, but in Bethlehem our 1st target was Dihlabeng Municipal mall; only to find out that nobody is allowed to handout any pamphlet/tract there. I tried to reach out to the authorities but they were nowhere to be found in the mall, but still we managed to handout  but not as many as we intended, so we make our way back to town, only to find out that there was a very good acceptance of the tracts there. We hand out tracts up until the setting of the sun.

Good afternoon Brother,

Tomorrow morning we are intending to go to DURBAN if God is willing, we will cross the border at 6:00 am, so that we could travel by daylight.

May the Good Lord open the hearts of His elects as we hand out tracts.

Yes Brother we are so blessed because he has risen and we are already dwelling in the first resurrection, we are promised to inherit the same blessing as he did, God has so loved us beyond measure.

In Matthew 27 we see individuals who repented so late such as Judas the betrayer; the wife of Pontius Pilate, Pilate himself as the governor, the centurion and all those who were watching as Jesus gave up the ghost, their repentance was of no value because it was too late. In 1Corinthians 10:12 Paul warns us that all this were written for our admonition, we aren’t to fall prey to the very same things they fell prey to.

Molupi [editor’s note: Kheliea’s son] was working very hard in those videos, handing out tracts and also capturing videos.

It was Easter Monday today; now it’s 21:32 pm here in our region, tomorrow it’s Tuesday, we are going back to Lesotho; hoping the Lord will take us safely home.

Good morning Brother,

We have just arrived from South Africa, we are now home. I think we have done our part; that is sowing the seeds; the God of harvest I believe will give the increase and also bless the good labor that we have done. Most of the people down here don’t have email address, but I think we better use my email as you have suggested. But some still have promised to respond via their emails as you have heard Molupi still persuading them on videos there. You will be getting many emails from Lesotho not many days from hence.

It’s our utmost desire that people might be on the light of the saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ ; like the prophet Jeremiah in chapter 20: 9(b) but His Word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing , and could not stay .

How can we stay when false christ is massively deceiving and leading the people to eternal damnation. In 20th chapter of Jeremiah v7and 8, Jeremiah is talking about being mocked and also being ridiculed (derision) as a result of bringing the true word of God; exactly what we are facing today; it’s so unbearable , but God will do as He wills , and we will thank Him for whatever he gives, for at last he will prevail , all glory be to God.

2 Timothy 4:2  Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

2 Timothy 4:3-4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Morning Brother,

I am so grateful also but it’s like we are not doing enough for the Lord as yet; for the time of the second advent is emminent.

But we are so encouraged by Matthew 5 :6 “blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness : for they shall be filled.“
Our only “hunger ” is for our fellowmen to come to the saving knowledge of the Lord, but God promised us we will be filled.

I think we can go south most of Africa; the place called Cape Town; it’s where Africa begins in this south of the continent. It’s more further than any counttry we ever visited down here.

I think we will go there in June if God Allows , which is a month after this coming one.

What town in South Africa are you writing from?

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to share with you the gospel of Christ. 

The authority for all that pertains to Christianity is the Bible, God’s inspired, most Holy Word. The gospel of Christ comes straight from the mouth of God, and was written in a book that we call the Bible consisting of 66 books, both Old and New Testaments. 

The gospel of Christ has to do with the fact that every human being is created in the image and likeness of God, and as such, is accountable to God for what comes out of our hearts and lives in terms of our thoughts and actions. And because we all came into this world infected with sin inherited from the first man Adam who fell into sin, we are under the curse of sin. The Bible teaches that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. The Bible teaches there is none that seeketh after God, there is none that doeth good, no not one. The Bible teaches the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through our Lord Jesus Christ. 

In order for anyone to escape the righteous judgment of God, it required that God himself in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ take on a human nature, preach the gospel, suffer, and be put to death as a demonstration of the fact that the punishment for sin must be carried out. The punishment for sin will be either be meted out on the individual sinner, or the punishment will be meted out on Christ on behalf of those who were named in the Lamb’s book of life before the foundation of the world. Only God knows who they are. 

We can’t do anything to get ourselves saved, but we can begin to repent from our sins and cry out to God for his mercy. God is a very merciful God, and today, we know that God is saving a great multitude which no man can number during this period called the great tribulation. God is no longer using the churches any longer to accomplish this. God is using only his Word and the witness of individual believers who are completely outside the churches. 

The best thing you can do is to begin to read the Bible. Is it possible to obtain a copy?

Dear Isabel,

In my previous email response, I mentioned that, in order for anyone to escape the righteous judgment of God, it required that God himself in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ take on a human nature, preach the gospel, suffer, and be put to death as a demonstration of the fact that the punishment for sin must be carried out. While that is all true, I left out the most important fact, which is that after being put to death on the cross, and his body laid in the tomb, his body saw no corruption and he arose from the dead on the third day, thereby demonstrating that he had overcome sin and death. That is what Christians observe at Easter, but in reality, the power of Christ’s resurrection is experienced every day in the life of one who is born from above by the power of God.

The following is a passage from 1 Corinthians chapter 15, from God’s inspired and most holy Word, the Bible…

1 Corinthians 15:12-26 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. Then they also which are fallen asleep [physically died] in Christ are perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. 

But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all [who were chosen in Christ from before the foundation of the world] be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming. Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

In other words, the Lord Jesus Christ the only begotten Son of God, has overcome death on behalf of all those who were chosen in Christ from before the foundation of the world to be God’s children throughout eternity. If we have been born from above by the power of God, we have eternal life.

Here is another passage emphasizing the importance of the resurrection of Christ.

In this account in the gospel of John, chapter 11, Lazarus, the brother of Mary and Martha, had died and his body had been lying in the tomb for four days.

John 11:21-27 Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.

2024 South Africa Tract Distribution-Phase 2

This was to be Phase 2 of a two phase tract distribution campaign in South Africa by Brother Kheliea Thoriso which was interrupted by car problems:

Introduction to South Africa, Eastern Cape:

Morning Brother,

How are you please? I am now almost at the end of the book “the condensed abbreviated TEOCAAA” am now in page 50 of the 64 pages .

So for now we can take another trip to the Eastern Cape for it was Western Cape where we were at previously. The schools will reopen on the 23 July here in Lesotho, so we can still travel as the same previous crew. If there may be such possibility Brother.

We think we can work it better if we go to Eastern Cape the other way, then come back home using different route, for we want to reach different towns. So I think it best again to spend 4 or 5 nights there, talking about nights for its the only most expensive thing after petrol.

We were supposed to leave tonight for Eastern Cape, but my youngest daughter is sick, so I decided not to leave tonight but rather wait and see how she will be the following day.
I took her to hospital today, and I hope she will recover for Our God is so merciful.

How are you?
Morongoe is now much better; so we decided to proceed with our trip early morning hours; perhaps between 03:00 and 03:30 am tomorrow Thursday our time.

We will be 4 this time in our crew for Morongoe their schools has reopened as from yesterday (Tuesday).

We are hoping for the mercies of God to lead us All the way through; and to also awaken the spiritual hearts of all who are to be saved as we hand out the tracts.

Editor’s note [as described below, our brother Kheliea Thoriso and his family experienced mechanical problems and were forced to return home prematurely. We’re thankful to our Lord that the family returned home safely and were able to get their car fixed. We will update this post when they are able to depart again to Eastern Cape, which is over 600 km from their home in Maseru, Lesotho. Good afternoon Brother,
We left like I have indicated as early as 3:30 am; unfortunately we have a break down when we arrived at Bloemfontein which is about 200 kilometers from Lesotho; it seems as though it was a gearbox problem, so we decided to tow our car back to Maseru; only to find out it wasn’t a gearbox problem as we thought, but it was an inner CV joint problem.
So we did All that we could to have our car fixed. So we incurred towing, mechanical, and buying the whole CV joint shaft. So we were heavily disappointed with my Children for not having a successful trip. My suggestion is that we are still having a burning desire to visit the Eastern Cape, the total sum of our expenses summed up to 237usd.
Very sad indeed to Tell you this Brother.

We were towed all the way from Bloemfontein to Maseru, but through the grace of God; we are now safely home, the car is fixed also.

Morning Brother, how are you?

If we take Mathew 24 verses 11, 12 and 14 chronologically; we are in the light that many false prophets had already arised worldwide and deceiving many as verse 11 indicates, and iniquity has abounded and thus the love of many had waxed cold. So with all this thing’s mentioned in verses 11 and 12 in view, Matthew 24:14 underscores that this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached as a witness unto all the nations, and then the end shall come. Meaning that this gospel (the true gospel) as it is now being preached, is one of the major signs that we are very close to the end of time. I am trying to reiterate that searchinghisword is one of the few ministries that are mandated to declare the true gospel in this latter days. It’s like we still have a lot to do in this field of evangelizing the World, hence the fields are whiten for the harvest as Our Lord Jesus had said.
May He be merciful so as to give us the increase as we labor in this field.

Hello Luthando,

Thank you for writing from Eastern Cape south africa! It’s a great pleasure to receive your note. 

We are here to minister the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to anyone who will listen and to be ready to give an answer of the faith that lies within us. Our only authority is the Bible, God’s Holy Word.

You mentioned about Matthew 24. In that chapter God gives us perhaps the clearest statement concerning the sign of Christ’s coming and of the end of the world (verse 3) which is the time that we are presently living in. For example, we read in verse 14

Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

And in verses 15-16 we read

Matthew 24:15-16 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

The abomination of desolation is a reference to Satan, who has been loosed and comes into the churches as a messenger of light, and his ministers as ministers of righteousness (2 Corinthians 11:13-15). When we see this happening, we are to flee to the mountains, which is a figure that means we are to flee to Christ and trust only in the Word of God. We are to depart out of the churches (Luke 21:20-21) and be an ambassador and a witness for the true Gospel in the secular world, remaining outside the churches.

God continues in verse 17 of Mathew 24

Matthew 24:17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

To remain on the housetop is figurative language meaning, we continue to be a witness and to publish the true Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ while remaining outside the churches.

In verses 21-22 of Matthew 24 we read:

Matthew 24:21-22 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

We are currently living in that period called great tribulation. It is both a terrible time when God’s judgment is on the churches (1Peter 4:17 judgment must begin at the house of God) and a wonderful time, in that God is shortening those days for the sake of the elect. 

This a time of great deception as we read in Matthew 24:23-24

Matthew 24:23-24 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

We are glad that you received and read the tract. We pray that you will continue to read the Bible and that your trust will only be in the Bible, which is God’s divinely inspired Word.
